For proper measurement control and to ensure accurate water balances can be undertaken, bulk water meters need to be installed on existing water infrastructure enabling the local municipal and often private enterprises to understand their consumption patterns. We at Nejeni are equipped and experienced to undertake meter installations on all pipe sizes and the varying pipe materials. The housing of these valuable assets can then be housed in pre-cast chambers designed and installed by ourselves.
In many instances bulk infrastructure installations are required by the Department of Water Affairs to enable them to properly manage and understand water usage that is been abstracted from water bodies across the Western Cape. These water users include farmers as well as Municipalities where abstractions are via small, medium and large pump-stations with pipe sizes from 75mm up to 750mm diameter. In a recent project, in excess of 22 large bulk meter installations were undertaken as far as Plettenberg Bay for the Department of Water, often in remote places where water is been fed via dams and/or large rivers to Municipal entities or private users.
